1. Is this a shared taxi or lift-share service?
No. This is a dedicated school transport service with a specific vehicle, fixed routes and a professional driver.
2. Who is the driver?
A mature, fully licensed professional driver has been identified for the service. He holds a D1 licence and will meet all required background checks and regulatory requirements.
Parents will have the opportunity to meet the driver before the service begins.
3. What insurance is in place?
The service will operate under appropriate commercial passenger insurance for school transport, including passenger liability cover.
4. Which schools are served?
All Limassol schools are initially in scope. The proposed list is here
Final routes and schools will be confirmed based on demand and efficient route planning.
5. How long will the journey take?
Journey times will depend on route structure and school location, but routes will be designed to minimise travel time and avoid unnecessary detours.
Estimated timings will be confirmed before the service begins and before any financial commitment is required.
6. What happens if my child is sick or away?
Occasional absences are expected and do not affect other families.
Pricing is structured around the academic year rather than daily attendance.
7. Can siblings travel together?
Yes. Siblings are welcome, with reduced pricing for additional children on the same route.
8. Are routes and timings flexible?
Routes and timings are agreed in advance to ensure consistency and reliability.
Limited adjustments may be possible during setup, but routes will then remain stable.
9. Is the vehicle available outside school hours?
Subject to availability and insurance, the vehicle may be available for occasional additional use by participating families.
10. What happens if there isn’t enough interest?
Registering interest carries no obligation.
If there is insufficient demand, families will be informed and no further action will be taken.
11. When will the service start?
The service will launch once sufficient demand is confirmed and all operational and regulatory requirements are in place.
The objective is to begin as quickly as possible once ready.
